Great place for Italian food. First time coming here. They are known for pasta and pizzas. Had their lasagna which was pretty good. Cost was $24. A littler pricy. Decent size and enough of meat. Friendly staffs. Since it wasn't super busy when i came, they brought out food fairly quick. Don't mind coming back here again.

Trattoria da Vittorio provided the most delicious food and amazing catering service for our wedding! I have worked with Vittorio on an event before, and there really had been no question as to who we would ask to cater our wedding in San Francisco. We met with Vittorio about six months before and did a full tasting. He comes to the table with excellent recommendations and he made it so easy for us to settle on a menu. On top of all of this, he provided servers, a bartender, linens, champagne glasses, and extraordinary service leading up to and on our special day. When the wedding day finally arrived, we did not have to worry about a thing because he - alongside his amazing staff - took care of everything. They are the complete package and the next time I need to host an event, they will be the first caterer that I call. I need to rave about the food as well. We had three different passed appetizers (bruschette, meatballs, caprese skewers), four mains for the buffet (short ribs, lasagne, chicken piccata, fiochette pasta), caesar salad, mixed vegetables, bread, and for dessert tiramisu and profiterols. Talk about an amazing spread! Our guests were blown away and raved about how delicious everything was. San Francisco locals now plan to visit the restaurant! Again, I cannot recommend Trattoria da Vittorio enough. Outstanding food and incredible service. Not to mention kind and friendly owners and servers. We will be customers for life.

One of my favorite places to go to for Italian cuisines! Here is what we ordered: - Lasagna $24 - Pappadelle Alfredo $20 - Garlic Bread $10 I always either order their lasagna, pappadelle or their fettuccine. This this I got their lasagna as I was craving something meaty The lasagna was cooked al dente and their meat sauce is very rich in flavor. The tomato sauce gives it a tangy & hearty taste with the herbs & spices they use. My boyfriend ordered their pappadelle Alfredo and this always hits the spot as well! Love the creamy sauce & the soft and chewy noodles. Love how the flat pasta just sucks up all of that creamy goodness, making every bite super fun to eat!

The food - classic Italian food - you want a nice meal without having to go all the way downtown and you live west of Twin Peaks, this place is a great place to dine. Great service and the food is good. Can't go wrong! Give yourself a little extra time to find parking. That is the only headache. Otherwise enjoy the pasta! We loved everything we ordered. My favorite was the zabaglione dessert.

There are metered parking spots and limited free parking spots around this restaurant. It can be a challenge to find parking around this restaurant during lunch and dinner peak hours . This restaurant offers outdoor and indoor dining. We opted for indoor dining. We were greeted by a friendly waiter upon entering the restaurant. We ordered the fried calamari with artichokes, chicken parmesan, salmon, linguine pescatora, and linguine con Voegele. The fried calamari with artichokes were crispy and crunchy. The chicken was juicy and tender. The salmon was moist and the fresh veggies and mashed potatoes paired well with the meal. The pasta was cooked al dente and they were generous with the seafood. We'll be back to try their pizzas and homemade Pappardelle Pasta.

Just a very classic old school Italian restaurant. It is a little on the pricey side, but the portions are there. For starters, I ordered the fried calamari with artichokes. I did enjoy the light batter and crisp but I felt it was a little under seasoned and needed the sauce to coat it. For the main I ordered the pasta with clams and zucchini. The portion itself was pretty big, came with a lot of clams which was a big bonus but in my opinion it was under seasoned. Pasta and clams were cooked well, the flavors in itself lacked a kick that could have brought it over the top. Overall good experience, would come back and possibly try other dishes.

Overview: feels like an Italian resturant. Plenty of wine bottles...the wine list is extensive. Outdoor patio seating Meal/Time: Dinner Sunday 523PM Seated: 523PM Ordered: 532PM First ordered item arrived: 540PM Decor/Atmosphere: Italian cafe, wine Service/ Front of the House: Greeted and seated immediately Service/Serving Staff: order taker did not introduce himself. Asked if we had any questions. Service Staff not engaging. After we got our appetizers the waitstaff became more attentive. They cleared the starter plates and replaced the used silverware...really appreciate it. Did not come around to see if I wanted a refill of my iced tea. Food: Grilled Polenta with Gorgonzola Mushroom cream sauce $20. Not bad... you can really taste the cheese. I did not see any grill marks on the Polenta. It was more of a slight pan crisper then grilled. Fried Calamari and artichoke $22. Cooked perfectly. Crispy, tender and moist. Crust is light and airy. For the main course, I had the "grilled" Branzino $32. The dish was served with mashed potatoes and Brussel Sprouts. The brazino was more pan fried then grilled. The dish was really good and a real keeper. The fish was juicy and flaky with perfect amount of salt and lemon. The Brussel Sprouts were tender and not bitter. Mashed was bit watery but good nevertheless. Value: good value for the quality of the meal. Service could be a bit better. Restroom: single unisex. Spacious with baby changing table. It was stocked Will I come back?: Yes...the short ribs looked tempting.
